MPR/Performance Today
The Parker Quartet will serve as MPR's first ever “Artist in Residence” in 2010 and will present various concerts, educational sessions, public appearances, and MPR interviews as a part of that residency.
The Parker Quartet’s residency with Classical Minnesota Public Radio is sponsored in part by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund created by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment. State funding is used only for residency activities that take place in Minnesota.
Master Class Competition
Now through March 31, Performance Today is putting out a call for high school and college string quartets to send CDs of their live recordings. The Parker Quartet and Performance Today will judge all entries and pick the overall best quartet. The winners get a free master class with the Parker Quartet, as well as a world-class recording of the session. Airfare and hotel are covered too. See all the details.Upcoming MPR Events
