Grand Old Day

Today, I enjoyed my first Grand Old Day, which is the largest block party in the Midwest.  Supposedly, it attracts half a million people who drive into St. Paul from all over.  My new landlord also uses this day to have an annual shrimp boil, which is something he has been eagerly awaiting since I first looked at this apartment two months ago (in other words, this was his big day).  Enjoy the pictures of this truly Minnesotan experience…
